The invention relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human hair. An agent containing a naturally occurring dye and 0.5-10 wt % natural emulsifier is mixed with water, applied to the hair and rinsed out after being allowed to work into the hair for 20-60 minutes. The invention also relates to suitable agents and formulations thereof.
