PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the display device which can display a stereoscopic image without lowering the resolution of the display image even when a conventional image display device is used. SOLUTION: This device consists of a liquid crystal projector 101, a signal processing circuit 104 which divides a right image signal 102 and a left image signal 103 respectively with time and displays them on a liquid crystal panel 108, a liquid crystal polarization switch 105 which switches the polarization direction of lights projected in synchronism with the image signals 102 and 103, and a lenticular screen 107 equipped with a polarizing plate array 106. The right image signal 102 and left image signal 103 which are divided with time are spatially separated by the said lenticular screen 107 and even when a conventional image display device is used, the display image can be displayed stereoscopically without being reduced in resolution. |
