PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern variation controller for pinball game machine with which the pattern varying time of variable pattern display means is changed as needed, the game rich in variety and having much interest can be continuously played while keeping interest, the probability of winning generation on the variable pattern display means is practically improved, the will of player to the game can be called and much profit can be returned to the player. SOLUTION: A play panel is provided with a starting means 16 for detecting a playing ball and variable pattern display means 29 for displaying prescribed patterns. Then, this device is provided with a display control means 43 for varying the patterns displayed on the variable pattern display means 29 for prescribed time and stopping them when the starting means 16 detects the playing ball, profitable state generating means 47 for generating the profitable state advantageous for the player at the time of winning generation when the stopped patterns on the variable pattern display means 29 become winning patterns after being varied, varying time shortening means 45 for shortening the pattern varying time of variable pattern display means 29 when the stopped patterns on the variable pattern display means 29 become any specified patterns in the winning patterns, and shortening cancel means 46 for canceling the shortening of pattern varying time of variable pattern display means 29 when prescribed cancel conditions are satisfied after the pattern varying time is shortened. |
