PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion composition containing propolis which is produced by bees and excellent in physiological activity and is useful in health promotion and treatment for diseases by formulating propolis alcohol, oil and fat, an emulsifier and a dispersion stabilizer in a specific proportion. SOLUTION: (A) 5-80wt.% of an extraction component of propolis alcohol, (B) 0.1-50wt.% of oil or fat selected from among animal, vegetable or fish oil or fat, (C) 0.1-50wt.% of an emulsifier selected from fatty acid monoglycerides, fatty acid sorbitan esters, fatty acid sucrose esters, fatty acid polyglycerol esters, lecithin and yolk oil and (D) 0.1-10wt.% of a dispersion stabilizer such as casein, albumen, pectin, gum guaiac, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, bee wax are formulated and encapsulated into soft capsules thereby giving the objective dispersion composition containing propolis having excellent physiological activity, suitable for health promotion and treatment of diseases. |
