<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the workability and to reduce the cost, by providing a paper returning function in the adding condition, an automatic elevating function of a paper conveying table, and an automatic elevating function of a manual paper feeding table, by using only one motor and one roller, in a printing apparatus such as a printer and a copier. SOLUTION: By rotating reversely a motor after a paper feeding operation is finished, all the specific operations can be carried out. At first, by the revers rotation of the motor 4, a pendulum gear 3 is connected to start the lowering operation of a paper conveyer table 9, and after a little while, a paper feeding roller 1 starts a reverse rotation so as to remove the papers engaged in the roller 1 from the roller 1. After that, an arm 2 for paper returning provided at the bottom of a paper butting part rakes out the papers left under the roller 1. After the raking operation of the papers is finished, the arm 2 is restored to the original position by the force of a spring installed to the arm 2, or by the dead weight of the arm 2, and it is housed out of the running scope of the papers. And when the paper conveyer table 9 reaches to the lowermost point, the arm of a nanual paper feeding table 11 is set to the operating position by a cam 6 and the dead weight of the arm.</p> |
