PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate musical sound by using a CPU provided with a cache memory. SOLUTION: In a waveform table synthesis processing part 20, by repeatedly computing and generating the waveform data of three systems for a left channel, a right channel and reverberation for each sample, the waveform data for the plural samples are computed and generated altogether. The data are successively interleaved for the respective samples and stored in an output buffer 30. Reverberation computed and processed data are added to the data and the waveform data to be outputted are obtained in the output butter 30. Since the waveform data are interleaved and stored in the output butter 30, the hit rate of a cache is raised and high speed computation is made possible. |
