PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device mounter for mounting a chip efficiently while reducing the loss time. SOLUTION: The electronic device mounter comprises chip feeding section s 11, 12, heads 25, 26 for picking up a chip from the chip feeding section, a section 25 for receiving a chip from the pickup heads 25, 26 and inverting the received chip constructed independently from the pickup heads 25, 26, and a precenter table 29 for receiving and positioning the inverted chip and then transferring the chip to a pickup station S1 separated from the receiving position. The pickup station S1 picks up the chip from the precenter table 29 and mounted on a board 6 at a mounting station S4 separated from the pickup station S1 by means of a plurality of mounting heads 33-36. |
