PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the inspection of the cutting nozzle and reduce the labor needed for operation by binarizing an image signal of photography by a CCD camera and calculating flame properties, and comparing them with a previously stored judgement reference value for flame properties and a permissible error and judging whether or not the cutting nozzle is proper. SOLUTION: When the photography by the CCD camera 11 is completed for every direction as specified, a control part 5 sends an instruction to a solenoid valve 24 to stop supplying gas. Then binary data on respective angles stored in a binary storage part 13 are analyzed by an arithmetic part 14 to recognize the state of flames. Various flame properties which are calculated are stored temporarily in an arithmetic result storage part 15 and compared by a comparison part 17 with the reference value and permissible error stored previously in a permissible value storage part 16 in sequence to judge whether or not the nozzle 1 is proper and output the inspection result. The comparison part 17 outputs the inspection result to a monitor 18 to show it to a supervisor and also sends a signal to the control part 5. |
