PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for movement of units in the lateral direction when a plurality of units are arranged in a hole through joints in the case a reinforced concrete construction basement is constructed of cast-in-place concrete. SOLUTION: For a construction method of the base of a reinforced concrete construction basement, a plurality of base units 12&16 having a reinforcement built-up body consisting of a pair of reinforcing bars opposed to each other are arranged to the bottom of a hole 11 opened in the surface while having a space 19 remaining in the central part of the bottom. Splices are arranged to the insides of the base units adjacent to each other from the space. Reinforcing bars 21 are arranged in the space, after and before the arrangement of reinforcing bars, the splices 24 for the base units and reinforcing bars respectively are arranged, and then, concrete 124 is placed on the base units and reinforcing bars.
