<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the periodic maintenance and inspection unnecessary for a brake assembly by turning a portion which is not fixed nor supported to a housing or a frame for adjusting ring in order to reduce a rotation resistance value when supplying tape from a tape pad in response to the decrease in the radius of tape pad due to tape supplying. SOLUTION: A rotation resistance variable adjuster 13 is supported and fixed by a frame 11 either by a housing 16 or an adjust ring 18. This housing 16 or adjust ring 18 is rotated by an interlocked mechanism 19. The rotation resistance variable adjuster 13 changes its inner magnetic hysteresis by the rotation of the interlocked mechanism 19, by which the rotation resistance of a shaft 17 as a rotating shaft of a tape pad 12 is changed. The interlocked mechanism 19 adjust the rotation resistance variable adjuster 13 so as to reduce the rotation resistance of this variable adjuster 13 in response to the decrease in the radius r of the tape winding of the tape pad 12 brought by the supply of the tape 15.</p> |
