An optical path controller of a projection type image display is constructed in such a manner that supports 2 are formed on both sides of each pixel region on a driving substrate 1, a conductor 3 with a length corresponding to the vertical length of the support vertically penetrates the support, a signal electrode 4 is formed over the driving substrate 1 having a predetermined distance therebetween, the signal electrode 4 being formed on the support and conductor, and a membrane 5, a transformation section 6 and a bias electrode 7 are sequentially formed in the shape of "T" on the signal electrode 4 and each pixel region, having a predetermined distance from the driving substrate 1.
