FIELD: purification of natural water from polluting ingredients to levels satisfying requirements of hygienic safety of water supplied to users. SUBSTANCE: known reagent and reagent-free processes of improvement of quality of water for domestic and drinking purposes are technologically complex, expansive, labour-consuming, required careful adherence to technology and skilled personnel, will entail difficulties in purchase of reagents and equipment. Adherence to all these requirements is rather difficult under conditions of small country settlements and isolated buildings. Proposed process of purification of natural water with the use of river sand available in great amounts in the capacity of filtering charge is distinguished by simplicity, accessibility and low cost of execution, is characterized by high degree of purification from suspended substances and iron and does not required skilled specialists. EFFECT: expanded application field, reduced running cost and improved functional reliability. |
