摘要 FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: encased cast-in-place piles are used for building foundations in unstable water-saturated ground and according to method have substantially higher load-bearing capacity due to higher degree of compaction of ground adjacent to pile and increased cross-sectional area of pile pad obtained by creating encased pile with closed bottom end and if necessary, with closed and additionally widened bottom end. Prior to formation of pile case body, by means of preliminarily buried in ground core with tamping unit, pad of pile of full cross-section is formed which completely closes lower end of encased pile. Hardening slurry is either pumped into ground core base through additional pressure pipeline, or concrete mix which flows down and under tamping unit is tamped into ground, using in this case corresponding configuration of protrusions in expendable pile end-piece.
