PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a position of light beam at a high precision by providing a light beam position adjusting prism for finely adjusting a light beam deviation in the vertical scanning direction which orthogonally intersects the horizontal scanning direction, in a device wherein a plurality of light beams are made to simultaneously scan in the horizontal scanning direction so as to simultaneously record a plurality of lines. SOLUTION: In a plural-light beam scanning device, light beams which are projected from semiconductor lasers 130A and 130B arranged orthogonally are made to be parallel by collimator lenses 131A and 131B and made to enter a beam synthetic prism 132. Both beam lights enter a polygon mirror 135 through an aperture 133 and a cylindrical lens 134. Next, a reflected light scans two lines simultaneously on a peripheral face of a photosensitive drum 10 through an fθlens 136 and a cylindrical lens 137. At this time, a prism set 143 which comprises two sheets of prisms and adjusts a pitch in the vertical scanning direction is provided, which is rocked by a stepping motor so as to finely adjust a fine deflection angle.
