PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a jitter value from becoming worse due to crosstalk even when an objective lens with a low magnification is used. SOLUTION: Elliptic spots 12a, 13a, 14a having such measure that both end parts in the direction of a major axis are formed on adjacent information track 15 are formed on the information track 11 of an information recording medium such as an optical disk provided with plural parallel information tracks 11, 15 and interposing a gap part 16 between the information tracks 11, 15 adjacent to each other. The major axis of the elliptic spots 12a, 13a, 14a are slanted at e.g., 45 deg. to the direction orthogonally intersecting with the track direction so that the elliptic spots 12a, 13a, 14a are formed only on one information track 11 and the gap parts 16 on both sides of and adjacent to the information track 11 concerned. |
