The compounds of formula (I), wherein R<1>, R<4> and R<5> are, independently, hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, aralkoxy, alkanoyloxy, hydroxy, halo, trifluoromethyl, amino, mono- or di-alkylamino, alkanamido, or alkanesulfonamido; or, R<1> is defined as above and R<4> and R<5>, taken together, are ortho substituted methylenedioxy, ethylenedioxy, or propylenedioxy; R<2> and R<3> are, independently, hydrogen or alkyl; n is 3 or 4; or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, are useful in the treatment of depression and related disorders.
