The earthing connector for a mains electricity socket has a U- shaped housing [10] of insulating material that has an earthing spring clip [20] that latches around the outer surfaces. On the underside the clip connects with a standard size earthing pin [15]. A connection bush [19] is formed on the topside of the clip and this receives a connecting wire that is inserted through a tapered guide tube [24] formed in the bridging section of the housing.
