Calcium nitrate is injected to dye-quantity-redusing waste water, then agitated to obtain a gray solid sludge, which dissolved with nitric acid to be adjusted at lower pH. The solid sludge is filtrated to generate a white precipitate of TPA(terephthalic acid), and a white precipitate of slaked lime obtained from filtrated liquid generated in a collecting process of the TPA with adding of a NaOH is made liquid of slaked lime. To that liquid, CO2 gas is passed through to generate calcium carbonate(CaCO3), thereby making it possible to synthesize calcium carbonate used as filling material in a plastic and paper industries, with a high degree of purity.
