An outside rear view mirror for cars has at a least one repeater flashing indicator (8,9) in the mirror foot, with a transparent cover plate (6). This plate is on the front or back side of the foot. The indicator is at least one LED or a filament lamp or a neon lamp. The plate is of one colour. The indicator is part of the car's direction indicator circuitry.
