PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a formed fiber material effective for repelling vermin such as mite and suppressing the proliferation of vermin, keeping the effect even after dry-cleaning, resistant to compression set, having high moisture- permeability and water-permeability, giving soft and comfortable feeling in use and causing little environmental problem. SOLUTION: This formed fiber material is composed of two or more kinds of fibers. It contains >=40wt.% of a polyester fiber A subjected to mothproofing treatment and 20-60wt.% of a conjugate fiber C containing a polyester R2 as the core component and a polyester R1 having a melting point lower than that of both the polyester fiber A and the polyester R2 as the sheath component. At least a part of the contacting points between the conjugate fibers with each other and between the conjugate fiber C and the polyester fiber A is bonded with each other. |
