PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a helical compression spring making the assembling of a filter complicated by mutually connecting the part deformed to the inside of a can accompanied by together joining the flange and end cover of the can and a base plate. SOLUTION: A filter element 20 is produced as a sub-assembly containing a seal 27 and a spacer 28. The filter element 20 contains a means for connecting the part deformed to the inside of a can 11 generated accompanied by the joining work of a flanges 30, 31 and a base plate 15. The spacer 28 has a peculier shape and extends to the gap between the base plate 15 and a side wall and is further combined with the periphery of the base plate 15. As a result, the filter element 20 can be positioned within the can 11 without requiring a helical compression spring and can be tightly fixed. |
