FIELD: steel welding and cutting, heating other materials through ferromagnetic layer. SUBSTANCE: inductor functions to concentrate electromagnetic field in ferromagnetic materials and to obtain high-density electromagnetic energy in small volume and within short time at power factor of 0.9. Thickness of steel welded by means of inductor is at least 4 mm. Total electromagnetic power requirement in welding is lower than 100 VA, its weight is less than 1.5 kg together with carrying case. Apparatus is available of two modifications, one suited for operation from utility supply mains and other, from automobile power circuit. EFFECT: improved design, reduced weight and power requirement. |
