This transmission does not requires a clutch to shift a gear though it is a manually shifted transmission. A shifting rod(16) which includes a positioning device(14) is connected to a shifting lever(20) which rotates about a hinge(18) at one end and a transmission rod(12) at the other end. A control valve(22) that is connected to the shifting rod causes an air cylinder(24) and an oil-hydraulic move in the same direction simultaneously. The control valve contains a valve rod(38) aligned axially. A bar and a spring assembly is installed inside of the shifting lever. A knob(44) is placed on top of the bar and the spring assembly partially covering the shifting lever. The bar within the shifting lever is connected to the valve rod by a cable(46) so that the valve rod will be pulled when the knob is pushed.
