Utilising thermal power-station condensing steam-turbine heat of condensation

The method for increasing the efficiency of open steam power plants by utilising the condensation heat of evaporation. The evaporation for intensifying the air upthrust, introduced into the air duct (10), acted on by the atmospheric air running upwards and the resulting flow energy is removed by the turbine. The duct length is adjusted to a dew point undershoot of the steam-air mixture during flow-through of the duct. The flue gas from the steam generator (3) can be introduced also in the air duct, for a further increase of the air upthrust. The flue gas before the introduction can be mixed with the evaporating steam and/or the supply air.
