FIELD: metallurgy; production of agglomerate in sinter machines. SUBSTANCE: gas burning devices in the form of tubular slot multiple jet gas burners with delivery of secondary air are installed in arch across the width of sintering belt in number providing steady and uniform ignition over entire width of sintering belt. Burners are arranged relative to each other so that angles of opening of flames approaching each other connect in boundary layers tangentially to straight line at surface of charge layer without intersecting. Hearth, including metal framework supporting housing with lining, arch and burners, is made for travelling over sintering belt with possibility of fixing in required position. EFFECT: enhanced operation. |
