Oven timer driven from mains

An oven timer driven off the mains has a mains component (5) that is switched off and on by switch (6) and a power source (7) is joined to the control unit (3) which feeds it when the switch is open. The switch acts according to a manually released signal, a signal from the control unit, a time-controlled signal or a signal from the oven timer itself. The switch is a relay or a triac. The power source is a battery, a solar cell or a capacitor bank.
