PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce the foot part of a connector main body with less number of components and prevent the connection error of a PC card caused by bending of the foot part by arranging a reinforcing plate in an injected plate along the foot part of the connector main body from the both side of the main plate. SOLUTION: Reverse insertion preventing recesses 16a, 16b are formed on both side surfaces of the insertion side edge of a PC card 2, the card 2 is inserted into a recess 7 of a foot part 3b2 of a connector main body 3 and a contact of the connector of the card 2 is connected to a contact 6 of a PC card connector 1. At that time, when both foot parts 3b2 of the main body 3 are locked with the card 2, since the both foot parts 3b2 are reinforced with a reinforcing plate 4b of an injected plate 4, they are not bent outward, and therefore, when the card is reversely inserted by mistake, or the card 2 is inserted by reversing the recesses 16a, 16b against PC card reverse insertion preventing projections 8a, 8b of a contact device 3a of the main body 3, the edge of the card 2 strikes against the projections 8a, 8b, and connection error by reverse insertion is prevented. |
