UNDER SNELL FOR FISHING OF SWEETFISH AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an under snell for fishing of a sweetfish having excellent biting of a natural sweetfish, readily making a lure and having excellent durability by treating an end part of a core-sheath type conjugate monofilament having a core part of modified cross-section under a specific condition and a thin diameter part having modified cross section is formed at the end side. SOLUTION: This under snell for fishing of a sweetfish 10 is obtained by dipping an end side of a core-sheath type conjugate monofilament 12 having a core part of modified cross section in an agent dissolving only the sheath part and forming a thin diameter part 11 having a modified cross section such as a triangle cross section or a rectangular cross section at an end side in a fiber axis direction by dissolving and removing a constant length of the sheath part. The under snell for fishing of a sweetfish 10 is preferably composed of the thin diameter part 11 having modified cross section as a connecting part to a treble hook and the other end side as a connecting part to an automatic snell stop.
