PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin concrete containing a small amount of a blended resin while maintaining excellent executability and strength by blending an aggregate with a methacrylate resin, a filter and a silane coupling agent and specifying the oil absorption of the filler and the slump value of the concrete. SOLUTION: This resin concrete comprises 50-92 pts.wt. aggregate, 3-6 pts.wt. methacrylate resin, 5-44 pts.wt. filler and a silane coupling agent in an amount of 0.1-2wt.% based on the filter. The slump value of the resin concrete measured by a method according to JIS A 1101 (a testing method for the slump of concretes) is within the range of 12-21cm. The filler is a preferably an alumina- based or a silica-based inorganic filler. The resin concrete is capable of maintaining excellent executability, strength and durability even when the amount of the resin blended in the composition is small. Thereby, a lower cost of the resin concrete can be realized. |
