<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update and manage special characters (external character data) by judging the necessity of an updating instruction and executing it on the terminal equipment side when the instruction is issued from a control part on the host side. SOLUTION: A group controller (a group control part) 2 is connected to a host computer (the control part on the host side) 1. Then, plural ID card preparation devices (terminal equipments) 3A to 3C are connected to the group controller 2. The ID card preparation terminal equipment 3A to 3C are constituted of an input part 5, a photographing part 6, a storage part 7, a display part 8 and preparation part 9 connected centering a control part 4. When the updating instruction is generated from the control part 1 on the host side, the necessity is judged on the side of the terminal equipments 3A to 3C and the updating of the external character data provided in character information is executed. Thus, the external character data are automatically updated and an updating error and a management error are not generated.</p> |
