COMMUNICATION CHANNEL DIVISION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high channel utilizing efficiency in response to requirements of a communication channel network by controlling a control channel number, an information channel number or a ratio of them for a radio information terminal equipment corresponding to plural communication channel networks. SOLUTION: When a radio terminal equipment 13 moves to a network 11, a radio base 12 selects a corresponding mode by a common control section 19 of a mode changeover device 14. A mode changeover section 18 sends communication channel configuration information of the corresponding mode from a mode memory 17 to the radio terminal equipment 13 by using the changeover common channel. The radio terminal equipment 13 receiving it commands storage of the received communication channel configuration information to be stored in the mode memory 17 to the mode changeover section 18. Thus, the radio terminal equipment controls the control channel number, the information channel number or the ratio of them in response to the requirements of the radio base station of the communication channel network to obtain a high channel utilizing efficiency.
