FIELD: materials handling and storage. SUBSTANCE: self-cooled container has chamber for liquid to be cooled. Chamber for cooling agent, containing cooling agent under pressure, is secured to base of chamber for liquid to be cooled and extends, at least partially, inside chamber for liquid to be cooled. Inner space of cooling agent chamber is hydraulically insulated from inner space of chamber for liquid to be cooled and is coupled with the latter by heat transfer. Cooling agent discharge unit forms discharge space including the part arranged close to cooling agent chamber and separated from inner space of the chamber by breakable walls. Cooling activator is designed for selective forming of hydraulic channel from inner space of cooling agent chamber into discharge space through breakable wall providing release and expansion of cooling agent which is under pressure. EFFECT: improved quality of liquid cooling.
