PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing for an adipate of 1,3-bis(aminometyl)cyclohexane having high concentration of cis isomer by using 1,3-bis(aminometyl)cyclohexane which is a mixture of cis and trans isomers and adipic acid as raw materials. SOLUTION: This method produces adipate of 1,3-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane having cis isomer concentration >=90 wt.% by using 1,3-bis(aminomethyl) cyclohexane having cis isomer concentration 40-85 wt.% and adipic acid as raw materials and charging the 1,3-bis(aminometyl)cyclohexane and the adipic acid in a mole ratio of 1.2/1-1/1.2, reacting in methanol as solvent, recollecting the reaction product by solid-liquid separation after crystallization from the reaction medium.
