The device includes a slab (30), rotating about an axis (31) fixed on a base (1) with two lateral walls (11,12), and receiving a connector (2). The rotating slab carries conducting elastic blades (32) terminated with vertical segments (33) which engage holes (15) provided in the base. The blades come in contact with the connector contacts when the connector is inserted in the base. The slab rotation is controlled by a rod (34) which is actuated by the connector being inserted. When the connector is removed from the base the slab is pulled back by a spring so that the vertical segments of the contact blades are withdrawn inside the device base.
