The welded tubes together form a smooth surface at least at the heated side. The tubes (2) are situated at constant pitch (t), and joined together via weld seams (8) and double ribs (3). They are of rectangular external cross section with dimensions D1 and D2, and have rectangular recesses (6) at their corners of dimensions a1 and a2 to accommodate the double ribs. Each of the latter consists of two profiled parts of rectangular cross section with dimensions l and k, their ends fitting in the recesses in the tubes. At each weld seam one or both components can be chamfered (7).
