Compounds of general formula (II), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, are of use as antitumor agents, where R<1> and R<1'> are the same or different, and each group is -H or -OH; the group R<2> is -H or -CH3; and the group R<3> is -H or -CH3; and can be isolated from marine sponges.
