PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the device usage by speedily and surely performing the calculation of the total amount of purchased commodities and the automatic settlement of account and enabling various kinds of data processing. SOLUTION: When a prepaid card 40 and vessels 41a and 41b, on which plural kinds of desired dishes are dished up, are put on a tray 32 and moved onto an account settlement counter, a reader/writer 30 reads out the remainder data of the prepaid card 40 and the dish amount data of data storage media 42a and 42b through a coil unit 31. This total amount of dishes is calculated and subtracted from the remainder data of the prepaid card 40 and these remainder data are transmitted through transmission and reception coils 39a-39n of the coil unit 31 to the prepaid card 40 and reloaded with new remainder data so that the automatic settlement of account can be performed.
