PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a conductor pattern width while making a characteristic impedance constant by providing the change in the dielectric constant depending on the position of a dielectric board. SOLUTION: The dielectric board 1 is made of a dielectric material such as glass epoxy and ceramic material, the specific dielectric constant of the material is uniform within a YZ plane and the specific dielectric constant εr is changed in the direction X. When the thickness H of the board 1 is as thin as several μm, a desired distribution is adopted for the dielectric constant by the ion doping method or the like. Furthermore, when the thickness H is thick in the order of mm, thin layers each having a desired dielectric constant are overlapped to form a multi-layer structure and to form the dielectric board with a desired thickness having a desired specific dielectric constant distribution. Since the width of the dielectric pattern formed on the wiring board is changed or the board thickness with a uniform dielectric constant is changed to change a pattern width accordingly, the characteristic impedance is kept constant and no deterioration in the transmission characteristic such as reflection of the signal is caused. |
