<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact air compressor that makes a distance to a suction chamber from a discharge valve part of this air compressor shorter and a temperature difference between this discharge valve part and an inflow' part of the suction chamber smaller, insofar as possible, restraining dew condensation from occurring, and to dehumidify discharge air still speedier. SOLUTION: An air compressor 10 is provided with a piston 11 and a cylinder 14, and a valve body 19 is installed in an opening end 14a of the cylinder 14, while a suction port interconnecting a compression space 20 and a suction chamber 21 is formed in this valve body 19 whose opening or closing is carried out by a inlet valve, and further a discharge port 25 is formed and it is opened or closed by a discharge valve 26, and moreover a moisture absorbing filter 29 is installed in a very nearby spot of this discharge valve 26 via an air passage 28a. Each rib is formed at both end sides of the moisture absorbing filter 29 by the valve body 19, and a void 31 is installed in each side of both surfaces of this moisture absorbing filter 29 which is clamped tight. In this connection, this moisture absorbing filter 29 is closed of its side piece by a film and both the end faces are subjected to heat-roll treatment.</p> |
