PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method enhancing gradation properties by increasing a dot diameter in a solid part and decreasing the same in a highlight part and realizing a high recording speed. SOLUTION: An ink jet recording method has a dot forming process superposing a colorless liquid 3 and ink 2 one upon another on a material 82 to be recorded to increase the diameter of the dot formed by the ink 2 as compared with a case not superposing the liquid 3 and the ink one upon another and a dot forming process not superposing the colorless liquid 3 and the ink 2 one upon another on the material 82 to be recorded. |
