PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in small size with light weight having a tilt correcting means with quick response speed. SOLUTION: A reflecting member 13 having a bisected reflecting surface consisting of liquid crystal plates 13a and 13b which are independently electrically variable in reflectance is disposed in an optical path from a light source 1 to an objective lens 4. The tilt amt. of a laser beam to an optical disk is detected by a tilt sensor 11, and based on this detecting signal, the individual reflectances of the liquid crystal plates 13a and 13b are changed, so as to correct a deterioration of a light spot 7 in shape caused by this tilt. Thus, a distribution of intensity of the laser beam 2b entering upon the objective lens 4 is changed, and cross talk is reduced, and hence the quality of a regenerative signal is improved. |
