PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage caused by the concentrated re-condensation of phosphoric acid to stably operate a fuel cell by forming gas flow paths of an oxidizing agent electrode carbon plate and a fuel electrode carbon plate with a straight gas flow groove and a gas flow groove arranged in the direction perpendicularly crossing to the straight gas flow groove. SOLUTION: A reaction gas supplied from an inlet flows through a gas flow groove 6A, is obstructed by the upstream end of a rib 7B, converts flow, passes through a gas continuity groove 8A, flows in a gas flow path 6B, then is exhausted from an outlet. Since the reaction gas stays in the flow converting region for relatively long time, phosphoric acid vaporized according to power generation is effectively condensed in the flow converting region and recovered. |
