摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently remove nitrogen oxide from oxygen excessive exhaust gas discharged from a car, especially, a diesel engine by using a catalyst excellent in denitration capacity from low temp. even in the coexistence of SOx without using a special reducing agent such as ammonia. SOLUTION: A catalyst consisting of zeolite containing one or more kinds of a transition metal (Cu or the like) and a composite hydroxide of the group VIII elements such as Co or Ni and the group IIa elements such as Mg or Ba or a composite oxide obtained from the composite hydroxide is brought into contact with oxygen excessive exhaust gas containing nitrogen oxide and hydrocarbon. |
