Sealing inner faces of chimney corner ducts - first fills mortar into corner duct and distributes it over entire inner face of corner duct

The inner faces of a chimney (1) corner duct (8) are sealed such that, in a first step, mortar is filled into the corner duct, and then distributed over the entire duct inner face by a distributor (12) matching the inner contour of the corner duct to form a mortar film. The distributor may be continuously reciprocated in the corner duct longitudinal direction. The sealing process can be typically used, during setting of jacket components (2), to form a chimney for in the joints penetrating mortar residue, which is used to form the sealing film.
