<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain a water purifying function by easily and surely exchanging and connecting purifying materials without draining water. SOLUTION: A submersible pump 2 is hung down and fixed to a cap 12 of a pump housing 1 and a main body 11 is provided with projecting pipes 13, 13. Purifying units 3, 3 installed on the circumference are constituted by packing charcoal 31 into net-like housing containers 32 integrally coupled to laterally projected water collecting pipes 34. The downward joint parts 42 of the front ends 34b of the water collecting pipes are put on the upward joint parts 41 of the projecting pipes to communicate the water collecting pipes and the projecting pipes. The water purified by the microorganisms in the charcoal is returned from a discharge pipe 22 to a closed water basin 5 by operating the submersible pump. The guide plates 43 projected to both right and left sides from the water collecting pipes are lifted and guided by guide rods 44a, 44b on both front and rear sides so that the misalignment of the upper and lower positions of both joint parts is prevented in the connecting work at the time of exchanging the purifying material units.</p> |
