PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a remarkable health food suitable for ensuring quiet sleep by using composite galenicals as main raw materials in order to suppress factors disturbing the sleeps as much as possible. SOLUTION: This health food for quiet sleep is prepared by mixing dry Panax ginseng, Ginkyo biloba extract powder, dry Formes japonicus, calcium, dry Rehmannia glutinosa stem, dry Eucommia ulmoides leaves, dry Zizyphus vulgaris, dry Glycyrrhiza glabra, dry Citrus unshiu, dry Chrysanthemum morifolium and dry Coix lacrma-jobi in a prescribed ratio and subsequently charging the mixture in the dry state into a tea bag. For example, 1 pt.wt. of the dry Panax ginseng, 0.07-0.3 pt.wt. of the Ginkyo biloba extract powder, 0.1-0.5 pt.wt. of the dry Formes japonicus, 0.1-1.0 pt.wt. of the calcium, 0.5-3.0 pts.wt. of the dry Rehmannia glutinosa stems, 0.25-0.75 pt.wt. of the dry Eucommia ulmoides leaves, 1.5-3.25 pts.wt. of the dry Zizyphus vulgaris, 0.25-1.0 pt.wt. of the dry Glycyrrhiza glabra, 0.1-0.5 pt.wt. of the dry Citrus unshiu, 0.1-0.5 pt.wt. of the dry Chrysanthemum morifolium and 0.3-2.5 pts.wt. of the dry Coix lacrma-jobi are mixed. |
