PURPOSE:To eliminate a distortion at a machine side in a positioning time, and to attain an exact final positioning by providing a servo lock range with an optional width against a positioning objected point. CONSTITUTION:In a servocontrol which controls a servo amplifier with a pulse width modulation based on the deviation between an optional setting possible command value and an actual value regarding a position, a velocity, and an acceleration, when the servo lock is applied at the positioning objected point set in advance, the servo lock is performed by setting the servo lock range movable in a positive direction side, a negative direction side, or both directions sides against the positioning objected point. In a conventional servo lock, a motor 4 is controlled against a positioning objected point O in a resolution width SR of the minimum unit of a detector 6. However, as shown in figure (m), for example, the servo lock range is not set at this side, being made free. Thus, since an electric braking force due to the motor 4 at the machine side is not functioned at this side, the distortion left at the machine side in a previous movement can be eliminated.
