The novel features are that: (1) (B) consists of a thermoplastic polyurethane, which softens at > 100 degrees C on the Kofler bank and has an average softening range NOTLESS 15 degrees C above that of (B); and (2) (A) has a matrix of thermoplastic polyamide, polyester and/or polyurethane, which is tacky when hot and has an average softening range < 100 degrees C on the Kofler bank, and also contains additive(s) contg. thermoplastic hydrocarbon. Also claimed is a method of covering or sealing porous substrates with the laminate.
