PURPOSE: To package a lunch container smoothly without hindrance by chopsticks and the like kept out of the way of the package and make it less apt for the containers to get unstable when stacked, by providing a container main body or the side of a cover with a storage part into which eating utensils can be inserted. CONSTITUTION: A lunch container includes a watertight inner container 1, a container main body 2 for storing the inner container 1, and a cover 3 which is placed over it. A storage part 5 into which eating utensils such as chopsticks or spoon can be inserted is provided by making an opening 16 through which they are put in and taken out, a U-shaped cut which is long widthwise, into the peripheral wall 15 of the container main body 2. Additionally, displacement of rubber band put around the container is prevented by providing the container main body 2 and/or the cover 3 with a lock recess 7 for locking the rubber band holding the container main body and cover 3 together. Further, all the way round the edges 8 of the cover 3, recesses and projections which are like waves in the direction of its lengths are formed to prevent a hand from being cut with the edges of the cover. |
