PURPOSE: To produce a bonding cloth having good feeling and high adhesivity to a surface cloth by applying an adhesive having a specific particle size to an interlining base cloth and drying and sintering the product. CONSTITUTION: A paste is produced by compounding (A) a suspension- polymerized product having particle diameter of 10-80μm and selected from acrylonitrile-ethyl acrylate, styrene-acrylonitrile-alkyl acrylate, glycidyl (meth) acrylate-acrylonitrile-alkyl acrylate, etc., with (B) a polyacrylic acid, a surfactant, an ammonia water and water. The obtained paste is sporadically applied to an interlining base cloth composed of a nonwoven fabric produced by steam jet entanglement of a polyester fiber web and the printed web is dried and sintered with a heating means such as hot-air heating or infrared heating to obtain the objective interlining cloth for bonding.
